Switching to web dev now would be like jumping into a band session—you’ll quickly see real-world impact and build cool things, which keeps motivation high. On the other hand, digging deeper into Python is like perfecting your technique before playing in public; you’ll write cleaner code and understand fundamentals deeper.
If your goal is to *ship* something tangible ASAP (like a portfolio or side project), web dev is the faster win. If you’re enjoying the grind of Python and want to tackle harder problems later (e.g., data pipelines, automation), then keep leveling up there. It’s not either/or—you can always circle back to Python after getting a taste of web dev.
