Just curious if faction-based roleplay still holds up in modern Battlefield titles. Back in the day, games like BF2/BC2 had that vibe where you'd stick to one faction for hours, but now with constant updates and cool-downs, does it feel forced or actually immersive?

I mean, the recent BF titles have that faction system but it's mostly just for the first few minutes, right? After that it’s just matchmaking swapping sides non-stop, feels kinda pointless.
